Boise's original Natatorium was a national treasure that was created from the natural geothermal hot springs on Warm Springs road. This recreational building was unfortunately demolished because the moisture rotted the beams that held up the structure that eventually collapsed in a windstorm in 1934. A new natatorium was constructed but with unsatisfactory results. This project aims to do what the current natatorium doesn't, and is meant to inspire and cultivate community interaction rather than ward it away.
